Multiple WhatsApp Accounts on one Android phone

Upcoming Update...

WhatsApp is now testing a new multi-account functionality that will let users create additional accounts to the same device without having to install additional parallel or cloned apps.

The app, which is owned by Meta, is also introducing a new settings interface that provides a more contemporary user experience while going through the many choices of the instant messaging program.

According to WABetaInfo, the update also includes a newly created profile tab that makes it easier for users to access the app's settings.

Not only will WhatsApp make it possible to utilize several accounts on a single device, but it will also make it simpler to keep chats and notifications from various accounts separate.

The number of additional accounts you can add to your WhatsApp app is currently limited to one, however a future update may increase this number.

Who can use it?

The new update (WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.18.21), which brings the capacity to add additional accounts and the redesigned settings interface, is apparently going out to WhatsApp's Android beta testers and is anticipated to soon reach a larger user base.

You won't be able to experience the upgrade just yet if you are using WhatsApp on Android in the public version. Although it is in beta testing, it is likely that Meta will implement it in a later stable version. You can choose to sign up as a beta tester in the interim if you can't wait.

In related news, WhatsApp has launched a new feature that allows users to control who can add people to communities.

By adding new options to manage permissions, the Meta-owned app aims to provide community administrators more control over their communities with this functionality.
