Video Shows Indian Student Bleeding Profusely After US Attack

Desperate Plea: 'Please Help' Echoes After Student's Assault in the US

In a distressing video, an Indian student in Chicago was seen pleading for assistance while bleeding heavily after being attacked by robbers.

His family in Hyderabad has appealed to the government to permit his wife to visit him in the US, expressing deep concern over the incident.

In a video, Syed Mazahir Ali was observed bleeding from his nose and mouth, desperately pleading for "help."

Syeda Ruquliya Fatima Rizvi, his wife, has reached out to Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, urging him to ensure that Syed Mazahir Ali receives appropriate medical care.

Her letter expressed deep concern: "I am apprehensive about the safety and security of my husband in Chicago, USA.

I request you to kindly assist him in receiving the best medical treatment, and if possible, make necessary arrangements for me to travel to the USA with my three minor children to be by his side."

Mr. Ali was pursuing a master's degree at Indiana Wesleyan University.

CCTV footage depicted Mr. Ali being pursued by three assailants near his residence in Chicago.

Mr. Ali was heard saying, "Four people attacked me when I was returning home. I slipped near my house and they kicked and punched me. Please help me bro, please help me."

The attack on him follows the tragic deaths of four Indian-origin students in the United States this year.

Shreyas Reddy Beniger, a 19-year-old student holding an American passport, was discovered deceased last week, with authorities ruling out foul play.

Additionally, Neel Acharya was found dead on the Purdue University campus earlier that same week, mere hours after his mother had reported him missing.

Vivek Saini, a 25-year-old student from Haryana, tragically lost his life when he was fatally attacked by a homeless man in Lithonia, Georgia, on January 16.

Additionally, Akul Dhawan, another Indian student, was discovered deceased outside the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in January.
