Man Crushed Crossing Tracks at Delhi Metro

Rescue Attempt Fails ...

On November 12, a man got stuck between the platform and a moving metro train at Delhi's Qutub Minar Metro Station, leading to his death.

As per the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), the man's tragic incident occurred because he attempted to cross the tracks from one platform to another instead of using the stairs or escalators. Unfortunately, he became trapped when a train approached the station.

Following his entrapment between the train and the platform, he was dragged for a few meters, resulting in his immediate demise at the scene.

The police reported that a woman on the platform attempted to pull him up from the tracks, but despite her efforts, he couldn't be saved.
