Beats Her Upon Discovering Her Age of 45
A 20-year-old man in Kanpur was arrested after assaulting a woman he met on a social media platform. He confessed to the police that he attacked her upon discovering she was 45 years old.
Deependra Singh, aged 20, initiated a conversation with the woman on Instagram, as per the police report, and they developed a romantic relationship. Eventually, he chose to meet her in person.
Deependra was taken aback to discover that the woman, who seemed youthful on her Instagram profile, was significantly older. Upon inquiry, she disclosed her true age of 45 years old to him.
Enraged, Deependra engaged in a heated argument with the woman and violently assaulted her by slamming her head onto the floor. Subsequently, he fled the scene, absconding with her mobile phone.
The woman later lodged a complaint with the police, claiming that she was beaten by an unknown person who also stole her mobile phone.
However, during the investigation, the authorities identified Deependra and apprehended him. Further inquiries are currently ongoing to gather more information about the incident.
